1. Who we are
TrueUpReady (“we”, “us”) is an independent Microsoft licensing and Software Asset Management (SAM) advisory service. You can reach us at service@trueupready.com.
2. What information we process
- Contact & billing details — your name, work email, company, and billing information needed to deliver the assessment. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor (see Section 4); we do not store full card numbers.
- Assessment output — the report files and figures you generate with the toolkit and choose to share with us for review.
- Website usage data — basic analytics such as pages visited and approximate region, used to improve the site (see Section 6).
3. What we do not do
- We do not require or request your raw MLS, AD, or server inventory files to be uploaded to us.
- We do not share your data, findings, or metrics with Microsoft, resellers, or any other third party.
- We are an independent advisory and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
- We do not sell your personal data.
4. Payment processing
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record (Gumroad). Your payment details are submitted directly to that provider under their own terms and privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction metadata, not your full card details. As merchant of record, the provider also calculates and remits applicable sales tax / VAT on the transaction.
5. Data retention
Any assessment output you share with us is retained only as long as needed to deliver and support your report, and is then deleted. Our default is to purge shared evidence within 30 days of report delivery unless you ask us to keep it longer for a follow-up engagement. Contact and billing records are retained as required for accounting and legal obligations.
6. Cookies & analytics
We use minimal cookies to understand basic site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email service@trueupready.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we hold, including access controls and encryption in transit. A standard mutual NDA is available on request before any review begins. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
